Final Broadcast Ratings: July 27, 2016

NBC swept the Wednesday night ratings, but it was not a slam dunk. AMERICA'S GOIT TALENT was down 1.3 million viewers and 22% in the A18-49 demographic, from last Wednesday's episode. THE NIGHT SHIFT posted a near average rating, drawing 5.3 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating, at 9 PM.

CBS' only bright spot of the night was BIG BROTHER, and it was down a notch from last Wednesday. AMERICAN GOTHIC continues to bleed viewers, losing between  as much as 65% of its lead in audiences, in some demos.

FOX edges by ABC for third, even with the season finale of WAYWARD PINES. The sophomore drama collected 2.2 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating. This may be the last we see of WAYWARD PINES, as the second season was a bit of a disappointment in the ratings.
