SyFy is getting into the superhero game by picking up the prequel series, KRYPTON. The series will feature Superman's grandfather as he tries to redeem the family honor.
MNF Gets a new voice:
Monday Night Football will be replacing the departing Mike Tirico (to NBC Sports), with Sean McDonough.
ABC picks up up Kiefer Sutherland series:
A week before their broadcast networks have their upfront presentations, ABC ordered the new Kiefer Sutherland series, DESIGNATED SURVIVOR, to seres. The plot is of the series is Sutherland's character, a low level cabinet member, suddenly becomes the President of the United States after a devistating attack.
More CRIMINAL MINDS:
CBS renewed the long running crime drama, CRIMINAL MINDS, for a 12th season. It was one of the last renewals by CBS for a returning series.
FOX orders Seth McFarlane series for 2017-18:
FOX has ordered 13 episodes of a live action series that will star Seth McFarlane (FAMILY GUY). The producer/writer will star in the series, which is a future based comedy/drama.

Netflix, DEAR WHITE PEOPLE:
Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of satyrical series, DEAR WHITE PEOPLE, based o n the Justin Simien film of the same name. Look for a 2017 premiere for the series.
