It was a virtual tie in this weekend's box office results, with THE BOSS having a slight edge over BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ. just $100k separates the tow movies and it will take the finale Monday receipts to determine the clear winner.
For Melissa McCarthy, THE BOSS is her fifth best opening weekend, as a lead in the film., ranking behind BRIDESMAIDS and ahead of TAMMY. THE movie will struggle to reach $100 million bey the end of its run, equalling TAMMY's run in 2014.

HARDCORE HENRY, the first person POV movie, didn't do much to attract movie goers, ranking fifth with just over $5 million. of the top 10 movies, HENRY ranked 9th in per screen average with just under $1,700.
