Preliminary Ratings: Monday 04/04/2016

With the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game being played on TBS, three of the five broadcast networks were in encores, leaving ABC and NBC alone in original programming, for Monday night.

NBC won the night, taking all three key demographic categories. Both THE VOICE and BLIND SPOT were down from last week. THE VOICE lost one million viewers and 15% in the A18-49 demo, while BLINDSPOT dropped to a series low 5.7 million viewers and a 1.4 demo rating.

ABC faired better than ABC with DWTS' demo ratings rising a tenth of a point over last week. CASTLE posted its best A18-49 rating in 2016, two tenths of a point over its winter/spring average.

CBS did well for airing all encore programming, while FOX and The CW were afterthoughts for viewers.
