Preliminary Ratings: March 8, 2016

Tuesday night was NBC's night as it won the night in any and every way possible. With a solid THE VOICE lead in, the new series, LITTLE BIG SHOTS had a relatively awesome debut, drawing 12.7 million viewers and a 2.9 rating in Adults 18-49. Its retention number hover around 95% in each of the four categories. NBC dominance of the night is shown by out performing ABC, CBS and FOX, combined. Something you don't see much in today, with regular series programming.

CBS was the #2 network, despite its to big NCIS shows in encores. A displaces, rerun of NCIS, at 9 PM, did better than the Spring premiere of AGENTS OF SHIELD.

ABC was all original, but that did not attract viewers. FRESH OFF THE BOAT kicked off the night with decent numbers, but it was all downhill from there. The New series, OF KINGS & PROPHETS premiere was DOA. It's numbers are worse than the premiere of former full time occupant, WICKED CITY, and it only lasted three weeks.

Only the 8 PM hour was original, for FOX and it ranked 4th for the hour. NEW girl is the best show of the night, in the ratings, and it only topped the NCIS: NO rerun.
