Final Broadcast Ratings: February 28, 2016

Sunday night was OSCAR night in Hollywood and the only program of any concern in the ratings. The annual ABC event drew 33.0 million viewers and a solid 9.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down about 2.8 million viewers and 5% in the demo, from last year's telecast.

The ratings also have hit a eight year low, when the 2008 ceremony only attracted 32 million viewers, but still posted a 10.7 demo rating. One third of all TV viewers on Sunday night, watched The Oscars, including 32% of the A18-49 audience.
