FOX takes another week in the ratings, lead by GREASE LIVE, on Sunday night. The musical production was the #1 show of the week, hauling in 12.2 million viewers and a 4.3 rating in Adults 18-49. That out performs the last two Live evens NBC had put on, including THE WIZ, back in December. FOX won the week in the key demographic ratings, while CBS took total viewership and households.
FOX placed three shows in the top 10 and a total five in the top 30. THE X-FILES ranked 6th, the two AMERICAN IDOL nights placed 7th and 12th, respectively and LUCIFER ranked 23rd. The next highest ranking FOX show is MASTERCHEF JR. at #43.
CBS took a good portion of the week off, despite the beginning of sweeps month on Thursday night. With that, all but Saturday night shows ranked better than 50th, including all eight encore episodes through the week. CBS placed 19 shows in the top 30, one of its best showing this season.
ABC and NBC had minimal success on the week, splitting the remaining six spots in the top 30. At this rate, the two network will be fighting it out for third place in the February sweeps.
THE FLASH surged up to #8 in the A18-34 demographic, while ARROW took the #25 spot and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW placed 35th.
