Primetime Cable Ratings: January 8, 2016

GOLD RUSH has an easy time taking Friday night's top spot on the daily cable chart, grabbing 4.1 million viewers and a solid 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. The series also excelled in Men 18-49, posting a 1.6 rating in the demographic.

GIRL MEETS WORLD continues its marathon running second season, with the first episodes of 2016. Numbers were below average, drawing just 1.6 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in the A18-49 demo. The series strongest demographic, Females 12-34, did post a 0.8 score.

LIFETIME did well from 9 to 11 PM. Veteran series, BRING IT!, and new series, RAP GAME, both made the top five in the A18-49 demographic, with both posting a 0.5 rating. However, total viewership was on the backend of the chart, collecting 1.2 million and 1.0 million viewers, respectively.
