Primetime Cable Ratings: January 5, 2016

There were quite a few season.series premieres on Cable, Tuesday night, with THE HAVES & HAVE NOTS bringing in the most viewers. the OWN series drew 3.1 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. That is on par with the ratings the 2015 summer premiere generated, in June.

DANCE MOMSs' premiere, on Lifetime, was not as successful, grabbing just 1.4 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, while going head-to-head with THE HAVES & HAVE NOTS. At 10 p.m., the new series PITCH SLAPPED (horrible title) dropped about 50% of the lead in, generating just 700,000 viewers and a 0.3 demo number.

Over on MTV, the TEEN WOLF winter premiere was more inline with DANCE MOMS, grabbing just 1.1 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating. That lead into the premiere of SHANNARA, which held almost all of its TEEN WOLF lead in numbers.

In the 10 p.m. hour, BET had two premieres. The series premiere of ZOE EVER AFˇER, at 10:00, drew 850,000 and a 0.4 demo rating and at 10:30, the 4th season premiere of THE REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD collected 750k in viewers and a 0.3 demo.
