Preliminary Ratings: Thursday, 12/10/2015

With its entire regular line up in original episodes, CBS easily takes the Thursday night ratings. THE BIG BANG THEORY posted 16 million viewers and a 4.0 rating in Adults 18-49, its biggest Thursday night audience of the season. The other comedies and ELEMENTARY followed suit, recording their best numbers of the season.

NBC did very well on the night, posting number higher than it has averaged so far this season. The original movie, COAT OF MANY COLORS, was the second most watched show of the evening and posted a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49, for the full two hours. The 1.8 rating matches THE BLACKLIST season premiere number.

ABC went TOY STORY on us, leading off with a new 20th anniversary special on the movie, then airing the original movie, from 9 to 11 p.m. However, the ratings put the network in a battle with FOX for third place.

FOX aired a double-shot of new BONES episodes as the fall finale. The 4.5 million viewer average and 1.0 demo rating, is on par with how the long running drama has been doing lately.
