Final Broadcast Ratings: December 16, 2015

'Tis The season for encores!! Of the 13 hours of primetime network programing on CBS, only four hours were of original programming. CBS aired three of those hour for an easy win on the night. The SURVIVOR finale and Reunion show brought in 8.7 million viewers and a 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49, for CBS on the night. Compared to last fall, SURVIVOR was down about 250k in total viewers and just two tenths of a ratings point in the A18-49 demo.

The fourth, and last hour of original programming came from a musical performance from the series NASHVILLE. ON THE RECORD 3 was actually the lowest rated show of the night, from the big 4 networks, losing to all those encores on ABC, FOX and NBC.

NBC had the night's lone holiday special, an encore airing of ELF: BUDDY'S MUSICAL CHRISTMAS. The low ratings are similar to last years numbers, for the special.
