US Box Office Results: Oct. 30 - Nov. 1, 2015
The latest wave of new releases did nothing to unseat THE MARTIAN from the top spot of the US box office results. Now in its fifth weekend, THE MARTIAN has #1 for four weeks and has collected a total of $183 million, domestically.
The top new movie was BURNT, starring Bradley Cooper, only managed $5 million and fifth place. Equally disappointing was the new Sandra Bullock movie, OUR BRAND IS CRISIS, which placed 8th and hauled in just $3.4 million in 2,200 theaters.
Next weekend should get a lot better with the new 007 movie and THE PEANUTS MOVIE finally coming out. They should end up finish one-two, respectively as bot movies will be out in over 3,500 theaters.
