Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 11/01/15

It was a very full day of sports, on FOX, Sunday. The network started the morning off with the pregame show before the 9:30 a.m. start of the NFL game played in London. The network signed off a little before 1:00 a.m. after game five of the World Series, which went into the 12th inning before a victor was crowned. It was the second game in the World Series that went into extra innings, with game one ending after 14 innings.

FOX challenged NBC for the nightly win, but NBC's best matchup so far, featured two undefeated teams battling it out. The football game out drew the World series 20 million to 16.3 million and had near a two and a half point advantage in the A18-49 demographic.

The results of last night's two big sports events had the Kansas City Royals coming back in the ninth inning to ty the Mets and the win the series, in the 12th inning. IN football, the Denver Broncos knock off the Green Bay Packers to go 7-0, while the Packers drop to 6-1.

CBS and ABC were most afterthoughts in the ratings, with ABC drawing just 22% of what FOX and NBC drew and CBS was about double ABC's viewership.
