Preliminary Ratings: Monday 11/02/15
Another Monday, another nightly win for NBC. The peacock network averaged 10.6 million viewers and near a 3.0 in the A18-49 demographic, winning by more than a full point to the next highest demo average. THE VOICE saw growth in the younger demographics, and was flat in the A25-54 demo and Total viewers. BLINDSPOT sall small growth, week-to-week.
Week two of SUPERGIRL did relatively well. without the benefit of THE BIG BANG THEORY as its lead in. The action drama collected 8.9 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. that is down four million viewers and 0.9 points in the A18-49 demo, but it is the best ratings for a superhero series, topping AGENTS OF SHIELD, GOTHAM and the two CW series. With an improved lead in, SCORPION is slightly up from two week's earlier, the last time LIFE IN PEICES was the lead in program. NCIS: LA was near its latest ratings numbers.
ABC was a close third place on the night and topped CBS in the A18-34 demo, by a tenth of a point. DANCING WITH THE STARS is right there near last week's numbers. The special COUNTDOWN TO THE CMAs did bring in 5.5 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in the A18-49 demo, but that is down near two million viewers and 17% in the demo, from last years COUNTDOWN special.
FOX was flat, week to week, while The CW appears to be up, but that gain should be erased come finals. Look for local preemptions to lower their final ratings.
