Maker Studios plans exclusive Disney content for Go90:
The Disney synergy is buzzing strong with a step to exclusive content on Verizon's Go90 media app. Maker Studios will make Marvel/Lucas Film series, exclusively for the platform. Eight series are set to launch on the service [LINK]
More THE MUPPETS:
ABC has given the freshman series THE MUPPETS a full season order for 2015-16.
FOX ups comedy to full season order:
A couple of days after they announced that THE GRINDER received a full season order, FOX did the same for its lead in, GRANDFATHERED. Both Tuesday night comedies will produce at least 22 episodes.
THE PLAYER's replacement announced:
NBC announced what will take the Thursday, 10 p.m. slot in January and it is the Jennifer Lopez/Ray Liotta series, SHADES OF BLUE. It will have a two hour premiere on January 14, 2016, then move to 10 p.m. on the 21st.
Norman Reedus inks to new series:
THE WALKING DEAD STAR will headline a new AMC reality series, RIDE WITH NORMAN REEDUS. The series will feature six one hour episodes in 2016.
Netflix get Gomez for new series:
Selena Gomez (WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE) has signed on to star and executive produce the new series 13 REASONS WHY for Netflix.
More My Network TV:
Fox TV Stations have extended its agreement to air MyNetworkTV programming for two more years, through 2017-18 season. The TV group has stations in NY, LA, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Dallas and more.
