Final Broadcast Ratings: October 29, 2015
The final THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL of the season, on CBS, dominated the Thursday night ratings, pulling in 17.5 million viewers and a solid 6.9 rating in Adults 25-54. The 36-7 blowout game rose to be the best rated game in a month, for CBS.
ABC got some more mileage out of the Halloween classic, IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN, as the second airing this month brought in another 6.5 million viewers and a 1.7 rating inAdults 18-49. It basically equaled the numbers HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER delivered at 10 p.m. SCANDAL, at 9 p.m., was the most watched regular series of the night, with 7.8 million viewers.
FOX did better than usual on the night, as the BONES/SLEEPY HOLLOW crossover event pumped up the 9 p.m. hour to its best numbers of the season and allowed FOX to leap over NBC for the #3 spot of the night. But, SLEPPY HOLLOW was still fourth in the hour.
Speaking of NBC, HEROES REBORN is dropping to the level of THE PLAYER, in the ratings. Both freshmen series fell under the four million total viewer level. HEROES REBORN did do better in the demos, but placed 4th in the 8 p.m. hour in four categories and lost THE VAMPIRE DIARIES in the A18-34 demo, for fifth place.
