Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 10/11/15

Between the cable offerings of The AL Divisional Series and the season premiere of THE WALKING DEAD, most of the broadcast programs saw significant losses, week-to-week. SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL is down Five million viewers, from last Sunday's preliminary ratings. QUANTICO dropped a million viewers and BLOOD & OIL off by 1.4 million viewers. CBS was up, thanks to an NFL overrun, and FOX was down to the lack of an NFL overrun.

The final season premiere for a Sunday night series, AFV, drew respectable numbers, with 5.4 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in the A18-49 demo. It should see a slow climb in the ratings, as viewers/fans now notice that new episodes are back on the air.

Despite a close game, featuring two large market teams, SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL lost about 25% of its audience, from last week's game. There was a two pint drop in each of the three demographic ratings. The game is on pace to be the lowest rated of the season, by about 3-4 million total viewers.
