CW Weekly Ratings: October 19 - 23, 2015

This was the first week the CW has aired its complete 2015 fall line up, in the same week. And, as we can see, there are problems already bubbling up. Mondays and Fridays are not working. CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND is not catching on and is bringing down JANE THE VIRGIN with it. EX-GIRLFRIEND will probably be the first CW series cancelled, but they will wait until it runs all of its episodes from the initial order.

REIGN should never have been renewed. It was tanking last season and it is doing it again, this season. We know AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL can do better numbers, so the REIGN lead in is hurting those numbers. Perhaps a quick fix would be to movie ANTM to Mondays, with JANE and let FRIDAYS crash & burn until mid-season.

Thursday nights are not doing well, but in comparison to the start and end of the week, it not doing half bad either. I wonder when LEGENDS OF TOMORROW premieres, if The CW will place it on Thursday nights and kicking the two vampire series to another night? That would be the smart move.

For the week, The CW averaged 1.42 million viewers, a 0.5 rating in the A18-34 demo, a 0.5 rating in the A18-49 demo and a 0.6 rating in the A25-54 demo. That is down about 100k in total viewers and the A18-34 demo is down from last week.
