US Box Office Results: September 11 - 13, 2015
A pair of new movies top this weekend's box office chart, with THE PERFECT GUY edging out THE VISIT by one million dollars. THE PERFECT GUY pulled in $26.7 million, while The scare flick, THE VIST, took in $25.7 million. Both movies cost less than a combined $20 million to make, with THE VISIT costing just $5 million to produce. In fact, the top three movies, including WAR ROOM, cost just $20 to produce, while bringing in a combined $59.8 million this weekend.
The other new movie in wide release was 90 MINUTES IN HEAVEN, ranking 9th with $2.2 million. The movie was in under 900 screens and averaged just under $2,500 per screen.
