Primetime Cable Ratings: September 8, 2015

The Williams sisters match at the USA Tennis Open, pushed ESPN to the top of the nightly cable chart, on Tuesday night. The match drew just over 3.3 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 1`8-49. It is the best numbers for a primetime match for this year's tournament. the previous night match only drew 2.2 million and a 0.5 demo rating.

THE HAVES & HAVE NOTS was the night's only original scripted cable program on the chart, finishing with just under 3.3 million viewers. It tied a rerun episode of AMERICAN DAD for the best A18-49 ratings, each with a 1.0 score.
