Final Broadcast Ratings: September 8, 2015

Three summer series ended their 2015 seasons on Tuesday night, one each on ABC, NBC and FOX. Of the three, HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT was the top in the A18-34 demo with a 0.8 rating and in the A25-54 demo with a 1.7 rating. That is retention of just over 40% from its AMERICA'S GOT TALENT lead in. But, it was able to help NBC easily sweep the night in the ratings.

On FOX, ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER ended its return season as the #4 show in its time slot. The game show never came close to its previous viewer excitement, drawing in low viewership all summer.

Pulling in even lower ratings was the season finale of EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS, on ABC. It was last in its 10 p.m. time slot and only beat encore shows on FOX, The CW and ABC. Year-to-year, EWL was down 1.8 million viewers and nearly 50% in the A18-49 demographic.

CBS was solid with its back-to-back episodes of ZOO, but the freshman drama is not drawing huge audiences, especially in the younger demographics. Sadly, it may be the best scripted program of the summer, from the five broadcast networks.
