US Box Office Results: August 21 - 23, 2015
STRAIGHT OUTAA COMPTON is the top movie of the nations, for the second week in a row, collecting $26.8 million in its second weekend of release. The bio picture has now grossed $111 million, domestically, in its first 10 days or release.
MI: ROGUE NATION is still going strong, now in its fourth weekend in release. The fifth movie in the franchise took in an additional 11.7 million this weekend, bringing its domestic total to $158 million. Its worldwide gross is now $439 million.
SINISTER 2 leads the new releases of the weekend, grabbing the #3 spot and $10.6 million. It tops the new HITMAN: AGENT 47 (#4) movie and the low budget AMERICAN ULTRA (#6).
