Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 08/23/15

With the NFL preseason game, FOX won the night in the three demographic ratings, but it was CBS that was the most watched network of Sunday night. Both ABC and CBS were right on the heals of FOX, in the demo ratings, but the gape widened as the demos got younger.

The preseason game posted mid ones, in both the A18-34 and A18-49 demographics, while getting a 2.0 in the A25-54 age group. That was second to a new edition of BIG BROTHER, over on CBS, but with three hours of game coverage, The game easily topped the two drama encores, for the better 8-11 p.m. average.

NBC was a non-factor, as it was nothing but encores of its competition shows, from 7 to 11 p.m.
