Primetime Cable Ratings: July 31, 2015

Friday night was a good night for Disney as the kids network took three of the top four spots on the night. The premiere of the new TV movie, DESCENDANTS, easily won the night, grabbing just under 6.6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49. As good as that sounds, that ranks towards the bottom of original movies, from Disney, but topped last year's ZAPPED and 2012's LET IT SHINE. 2013's TEEN BEACH MOVIE collected 8.4 million.

The new series, BUNK'D benefited with the huge lead in, holding onto 4.2 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the demo. If reception was good, The JESSIE spin-off should have a nice long run.

For the night, Disney averaged 5.5 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49.
