Primetime Cable Ratings: August 2, 2015

An encore of the new Disney movie, DESCENDANTS, was Sunday's most watched cable program, with 3.3 million viewers, plus a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. It out drew THE LAST SHIP by close to a half million viewers.

TRUE DETECTIVE, season 2, is not a hit with viewers as the first episode of August only ranked 12th on the night, drawing just 2.2 million viewers. That was less than a rerun of NCIS on USA.

FOOD NETWORK STAR grew 10%, week-to-week, to be the #3 show of the night. It also added another tenth of a point to its A18-49 ratings.
