A&E picks up 90's crime drama:
Describes as a 1990's hip-hop crime drama, A&E has picked up the series THE INFAMOUS.
Comedy Central hands out two season renewal:
The Comedy Central series, WORKAHOLICS was given a two season renewal, for the 6th and 7th seasons of the series.
Comedy Central hands out three season renewal:
A three season renewal to SOUTH PARK, keeping the series on the air through 2019. The 30 episode deal is part of a bigger deal that will make Hulu the streaming home of the series, through the upcoming seasons.
Another TWIN PEAKS delay:
Originally set for a 2016 premiere, the revival of the series TWIN PEAKS may now debut in 2017, according to an interview given by co-creator, Mark Frost.
Bye-bye Rozie:
THE VIEW is losing yet another host, with actress Rozie Perez announcing she is exiting the shows. It was also announced that comedian Michelle Collins be a permanent co-host for next season.
WE goes Hip Hop:
WE TV has picked up the reality series GROWING UP HIP HOP and will debut later this year.
Olberman leaves ESPN, again:
The often traveled commentator and sports announcer, Keith Olbermann, is leaving ESPN for the second time in his career. Since leaving ESPN for the first time, in the late 90's, Olbermann has worked for ESPN, MSNBC, NBC, FOX Sports Net, FOX, ABC Radio Network, TBS, and Current TV
Kel Mitchell returns to Nickelodeon:
The former ALL THAT and KENAN & KEL start is fronting a new project for Nickelodeon, GAME SHAKERS. The comedy project is created by Dan Schneider (iCARLY and VICTORIOUS).
