Ratings Review: HOT IN CLEVELAND (Season Six)

After six seasons and 128 episodes, the TV Land comedy, HOT IN CLEVELAND, has come to a close. It may be one of the most successful sitcoms, on cable TV, in numbers of viewers and number of episodes. Winning numerous awards, including an Emmy Award, in 2011. The series will live on in syndication for the years to come.

The viewership had really taken a down turn the last two seasons, with only the series finale able to reach one million viewers. A far cry from its 4.2 million average, in season one. But, those were different time and time-shifting was not as prevalent. This season, the Live+SD viewership averaged just under 800,000 per episode. The A18-49 ratings were almost nonexistent, generally getting a 0.1 rating, when rounding up.
