Ratings Review: CHICAGO PD (Season Two)
NBC is finding success in the Dick Wolf CHICAGO universe and CHICAGO PD is leading the way. The series on of the very few NBC shows that can draw a good size audience, week-in and week-out, and does very well in the DVR ratings. But, can the universe handle a third series, coming this fall?The CHICAGO PD ratings averaged 6.45 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49, in the Live+SD ratings, over 30 airings, including seven encores. Subtract the repeat episodes and the averages rise to 7.10 million viewers and a 1.6 demo rating.
In the Live+3 ratings, viewership adds 2.6 million viewers and 0.8 points in the A18-49 demographic. For the Live+7 ratings, the total numbers average to 10.39 million viewers (+46%) and a 2.7 rating (+69%) in the demo.
