Final Broadcast Ratings: July 29, 2015

For the second night in a row, NBC sweeps the broadcast ratings, thanks to a special two hour edition of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. The hit variety series was #1 in total viewers, with 7.9 million and finished second in each of the three age demographic ratings.

Following AGT was week two of LAST COMIC STANDING. which did drop slightly in the ratings, from last week's premiere. The reality series was #2 in total viewers, #3 in the two older demographic categories, but 4th in the A18-34 demo.

CBS and FOX battled it out for the #2 spot of the night. BIG BROTHER carried CBS' numbers, as the #1 program in all three demo rating categories. EXTANT followed BB, but did no better than a repeat episode of CRIMINAL MINDS, wich aired at 10 p.m.

FOX had a relatively good night, as MASTERCHEF was a close third in it time slot. Week two of HOME FREE pretty much held 100% of its week one audience and saw the A18-34 ratings rise 40%. Considering the numerous failures FOX has seen the last 12 months, HOME FREE should get a second season order, for the summer of 2012.

ABC was mostly repeats on the night and CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP did no better than sitcom encores that preceded it.
