Primetime Cable Ratings: June 28, 2015

The 2015 BET AWARDS was the dominate program of Sunday night, commanding 6.3 million viewers and a 2.6 rating in Adults 18-49. However, that is down 1.2 million viewers and 16% in the demo, from last year's awards show.

TNT's THE LAST SHIP was the second most watched cable program, topping TRU DETECTIVE by more than 200,000 viewers. But, The HBO drama was the top regular series, in the A18-49 demo, for the night, with a 1.3 rating. Compared to last week's premieres, TRUE DETECTIVE is down, slightly, while THE LAST SHIP rose in the ratings.

The premiere of the final season of FALLING SKIES did decent numbers, bringing in over two million viewers. That is below last year's season finale and is a series low in viewership.
