Complete Nielsen Ratings: April 27 - May 3, 2015
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #92:
It was a lot of the same, week-to-week, as NBC, FOX and CBS all posted near identical numbers as last week. Only ABC changed, falling off last week's Bruce Jenner educed high. ABC still won the weekly A18-49 crown, topping CBS by two tenths of a point, while the two networks tied in the A25-54 ratings. CBS easily took households and total viewership.
CBS had the most shows in the top of the chart, including the top three shows of the week (NCIS, NCIS: NO and BIG BANG). CBS also had five shows in the top ten and a total of 18 in the top 30. Only one program, not airing on Saturday nights, failed to make the top 40 (THE AMAZING RACE).
ABC had seven shows make the top 30, with both nights of DANCING WITH THE STARS making the top 10. DWTS is now the most watched reality program on TV, regularly topping THE VOICE. GREY'S ANATOMY and CASTLE round out ABC's top 20 entries.
NBC was a distant third place, in each category, watching its season slowly slip away. Currently just 150,000 A18-49 viewers separate the two networks for the season Demo title. NBC's one last chance, the Triple Crossover episodes of CHICAGO FIRE, CHICAGO PD and LAW & ORDER: SVU, did not produce the same results as it did in November. It will be a very tight battle between the two networks to see who comes out on top.
How many different ways can I write that FOX is in shambles. Only AMERICAN IDOL (#26) made the top 50, for the network. All but three of its shows drew less than 4 million viewers. And, a majority of those were under three million viewers.
For the CW, THE FLASH was 61st in total viewers and 31st in the A18-49 ratings.
