UNDATEABLE, Live!:
The sophomore sitcom UNDATEABLE, will air a live episode, on NBC, on May 5th.
VH1 renews freshman series:
The scripted series, HINDSIGHT, has been renewed for a second season, by VH1.
ABC News on Roku:
The news division of ABC has launched multiple streaming channels, requiring no authentication, on Roku devices.
CBS offers affiliates streaming deal:
CBS is offering affiliates $1 for each subscriber, in their market, if the partner with the network on its All-Access streaming services. Currently, the service is limited to the 16 markets CBS owns local stations in.
NBCU launching syndicated laugher:
NBC Universal will syndicate the comedic half hour program, CRAZY TALK, starting this fall. The series is an unscripted series and will be hosted by Tanisha Thomas (BAD GIRLS CLUB) and Ben Aaron (New York Live).
LAFF secures movie deals:
The digital broadcast network, LAFF, has signed a deal to bring over 250 Sony, Disney and Miramax theatrical movies to the airwaves. Some popular titles include JERRY MCGUIRE, starring Tom Crise, STIR CRAZY, with Richard Prior, HONEY, I SHRUNK UP THE KIDS, and cult movie CLERKS.
DIY and HGTV renew multiple series:
The home improvement channels DIY and HGTV renewed the floowing series for another season.
Coming back on DIY is THE VANILLA ICE PROJECT, KITCHEN CRASHERS, BARWOOD BUILDERS and SLEDGEHAMMER.
Returning to HGTV are HOUSE HUNTERS RENOVATIONS, TINY HOUSE HUNTERS, LAKEFRON BARGIN HUNT and ISLAND HUNTERS
