With the 67th Emmy awards airing on FOX, Sept. 20th, Andy Samberg has been named host of the ceremony.
SyFy renews freshman series:
despite low ratings, the new drama 12 MONKEYS has been renewed for a second season by SyFy.
CBS renews 2 BROKE GIRLS:
Joining fellow comedies MIKE & MOLLY, MOM, and THE BIG BANG THEORY, fourth year sitcom 2 BROKE GIRLS will return for the 2015-16 season.
FASHION POLICE down another host:
E! confirmed that Kathy Griffith is leaving the show. This comes just a week after Kelly Osbourne left the show.
MOM adds to its cast:
Jamie Pressly (My Name Is Earl) has been added as a series regular to the CBS sitcom, MOM, for the 2015-16 TV season.
LAFF adds COX stations:
The upcoming digital comedy network, LAFF, has added statins from the COX Media Group. The Cox stations that will carry LAFF on a digital broadcast subchannel are WSB-TV, Atlanta; WFXT-TV, Boston; KIRO-TV, Seattle; WFTV, Orlando; WPXI-TV, Pittsburgh, WSOC-TV, Charlotte and WHIO-TV, Dayton. Clearance for the network is now up to 47% of the country.
