CBS renews freshmen crime dramas:
Three first year CBS crime dramas has been renewed for the 2015-16 season. SCORPION, MADAM SECRETARY and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS will each return for a second season.



LATE LATE SHOW sets Colbert's premiere:
With David Letterman exiting the LATE LATE SHOW in May, CBS has announced that the first episode with Stephen Colbert as host, will premiere on September 8th, 2015.



CW renews most of current fall schedule:
The CW announced it has renewed all eight fall dramas, for the 2015-16 TV season. No word on mid-season series HART OF DIXIE or summer series BEAUTY & THE BEAST.



CW sets mid-season schedule:
Three new mid-season series have their premieres and time slots set. iZOMBIE will premiere on March 17, 2015, following THE FLASH. That moves SUPERNATURAL to Wednesdays, after ARROW. CEDRIC's BARBER BATTLE and THE MESSENGERS will premiere on Friday, April 11, 2015, settling in at 8 and 9 p.m., respectively. THE 100 will end its season on March 11th.



British series THE NIGHT MANAGER gets US distribution:
AMC will be the exclusive home of the new BBC series, THE NIGHT MANAGER, starring Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston. look for a 2016 premiere date, on AMC.



AMC greenlights Mob series:
Docudrama MAKING THE MOB: NEW YORK has been given the go to series, by AMC. The series will premiere later this spring.



Starz & BBC developing series:
THE DRESSER, starring Ian McKellen and Anthony Hopkins, will be co-produced by Starz and BBC. Production will begin in London, sometime later this year.



SHAMELESS renewed for another season:
the showtime series SHAMELESS has been renewed for a 6th season, by Showtime. The added season will consist of 12 episodes.
