Primetime Cable Ratings: January 9, 2015
As it has most of the fall, GOLD RUSH is the #1 show of Friday night. The episode commanded 4.2 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in the A18-49 demographic. For the night, Discovery averaged 3.1 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating.The return of GIRL MEETS WORLD and the season premiere of JESSIE, helped Disney average 2.5 million viewers, during the 8 p.m. hour. Both sitcoms ranked within the top 10.
The final Friday night edition of SMACKDOWN, ranked 7th on the night, bringing in 2.4 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating. That is down, slightly, from last week's total viewership, while the demo remained flat. Starting this week, SMACKDOWN will begin airing on Thursday nights
