Top 100 Primetime Cable: January 19 - 25, 2015

ESPN took the top honors, as the NFL Pro Bowl game scored the most viewers (8.8 million) and the best A18-49 rating (3.2). Its ratings were nearly double that of the next closest competitors. The game was down from the previous year, shown on NBC, but still a great number for cable.

GOLD RUSH was the weeks #1 reality series, hauling in 4.7 million viewers and a 1.4 demo. Who says Friday nights do not deliver viewers? If the right program is presented, viewers will watch it.

FOX dominated the political coverage of Tuesday night's STATE OF THE UNION address. Six separate programs, from that night, made the top 25, including the #5 program of the week, the Republican Response.

The top scripted program of the week was night one of the mini series SONS OF LIBERTY. The History production placed 11th, bringing in 3.3 million viewers, against some tough competition but, it did draw more viewers than AMERICAN HORROR STORY.

The JUSTIFIED season premiere was a bit flat, drawing just 2.2 million viewers. That is down over 600,000 viewers and 45% in the demo, from last year's season premiere. The series placed 59th on the week.
