Primetime Cable Ratings: January 25, 2015

The last NFL game, on cable TV, for the next 7 months, was Sunday night's top program. The NFL Pro Bowl commanded 8.8 million viewers and a 3.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That tied UNDERCOVER BOSS as the #2 most watched program of the night, in all TV, and was the #1 program in the A18-49 ratings. That is about 2.5 million less viewers than what NBC delivered last year, and 16% lest in the demo.

Night one of the History miniseries SONS OF LIBERTY good off to a decent start. It was #3 on the night, with 3.3 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating. That is considerably less than the near 14 million viewers THE HATFIELDS & MCCOYS miniseries got, back in 2012. But, not all productions will deliver the same numbers.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards, presented on both TBS and TNT, brought in a combined five million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating, goo enough to be the second most watched program of the night, had they been on just one network. Separately, they were #6, on TNT, and #14, on TBS.
