Final Broadcast Ratings: January 12, 2015

ABC and CBS split a Monday night that had more repeat programming than original. ABC edged out CBS and NBC for the A18-49 ratings, thanks to an all original night of THE BACHELOR and CASTLE. THE BACHELOR dropped 1.3 million viewers and 19% in the demo, from last week's premiere episode. The episode tied for second in the 8 p.m. hour, with THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE.

CASTEL's first new episodes of the year just edged out an encore SCORPION episode for the top numbers of the 10 p.m. hour. Compared to its last original episode, CASTLE was even in the A18-49 ratings, but down a half a million viewers.

Despite just 30 minutes of original programming, CBS was still the most watched network of the night, and won the A18-49 ratings with its two sitcoms. MIKE & MOLLY was the #1 program, in the demo, with a 2.1 rating. CBS did the switch-a-roo with the crime dramas, flipping NCIS: LA and SCORPION in the schedule. It could be a test to see if SCORPION can handle a 10 p.m. start time, or it keeps a repeat rating from "officially" being added to the season average.

NBC did not look good on the night, mostly because of the poor performance of STATE OF AFFAIRS. The original episode didn't come close to the encore episode of SCORPION, on CBS. It also tied a repeat of EMPIRE for the second worst A18-49 rating by ANY show, from the big 4.

CELEBRITY APPRENTICE did relatively well, considering it is on NBC. I dropped 15% in the A18-49 demographic and lost 700,000 total viewers, from last Monday's episode.

CW - 1.1 million viewers, 0.3 rating in A18-49
