CW Weekly Ratings: January 19 - 23, 2015

After about a six week lay off, the CW was back with a a full week of original episodes in most of its returning series. As expected, THE FLASH was the top program of the network, drawing 3.9 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49. ARROW was right behind in both viewers and demo, representing the only two CW programs to draw over three million viewers and a 1.0+ demo rating.

Most series did about what they were doing before the holiday break, however the producers of REIGN have got to be a little worried. The second year drama was the network's lowest rated scripted series, losing out to Friday night's HART OF DIXIE. REIGN has struggled most of the season to keep viewers out of TVD, but a 50% loss in the key demo rating, could spell doom for the series.

MASTERS OF ILLUSION is definitely a summer series, as it could only muster 750k in total viewership. it is not a bad choice as filler programming, on a Friday night, but a second episode of WHOSE line could have done much better.

For the week, the CW averaged 1.86 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down about 150,000 viewers from the last full week of originals, back on December 8 - 12, 2014. But, the demo ratings did hold steady.
