- CBS sets mid-season plans

CBS busy with mid-season details:
First off, CBS announced the series finale date of TWO AND A HALF MEN, set for February 19, 2015. The final episode will be one hour long, starting at 9 p.m. Proceeding the finale will be the premiere of the new sitcom, THE ODD COUPLE, starring Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon, at 8:30 p.m. The following week, February 26, MOM will move to its new time slot, at 9:30 p.m, following an encore of THE BIG BANG THEORY at 9 p.m.
Two new CBS dramas will get their series premieres, during the first week of March, 2015. CSI: CYBER will take over the Wednesday's, 10 p.m. slot from STALKER, starting March 4, 2015. STALKER will rest and return at a date to be determined later.
BATTLE CREEK will take over the CSI slot, on Sundays at 10 p.m., starting March 1st, 2015. The CSI season finale is scheduled for February 15, 2015.
SyFy looks to KRYPTON for new series:
SyFy and DC Entertainment are developing a new drama, KRYPTON, that will look at the civilization of the planet Superman is from. The central character will be the grandfather of the well know superhero, as he brings peace to the planet.
USA renews sitcom:
The freshman USA Network comedy, PLAYING HOUSE, has been renewed for an 8 episode, second season.
One last season for THE LEAGUE:
The ultra low rated FXX comedy, THE LEAGUE, will have its seventh, and final season, in 2015. The last season will consist of 13 episodes.
SyFy set final CONTINUUM:
The sci-fi series CONTINUUM has been renewed for a fourth and final season, consisting of just six episodes, for 2015.
