The pilot for THE WALKING DEAD companion series has cast Cliff Curtis (Gang Related, Missing) as its male lead. The character is a teacher trying to d right for those he loves and cars about.
CBS announces mini-series premiere dates:
The 2015 CBS mini-series, THE DOVEKEEPERS, will premiere on March 31, 2015. The second part of the series will air the following night, April 1, 2015.
TNT renews freshman drama:
The Sean Bean lead action drama LEGENDS has been renewed for a second season, by TNT. The second season will consist of 10 episodes.
Netflix has its Jessica Jones:
The new marvel series JESSICA JONES, to run on Netflix, has cast DON'T TRUS THE B actress Krysten Ritter as the lead actress.
ABC Family may become a different cable network:
Looking to attract younger viewers, instead of families, Disney is looking at a complete brand makeover for ABC Family. No word on name or when this could happen, if it happens.
BBC AMERICA renews mockumentary:
ALMOST ROYALS has been picked up for a second series, as the British would say. The comedy will produce 8 episodes for 2015.
AMC orders pilot for comic book character:
