Christian Slater back in new series:
After a continued streak of failed TV series, Christian Slater is back with a new series, MR. ROBOT." The series was picked up by USA and will be a drama about hackers and anti=-social characters. The 10 episode first season will air during the 2015-16 season.
Hulu continues aggressive moves for exclusive content:
Over the past couple of weeks, Hulu has been making agreements for exlcusive rights many cable and broadcast network shows. The latest is a series of FX programs, including FARGO, THE STRAIN and TYRANT, plus a few of the newer comedies.
TabletTV Planning U.S. Launch on KOFY-TV:
A new product is launching in the San Francisco area that will receive all over the air digital broadcasts, record them and allow users to watch show via a table or other devices, via WiFi. OnDemand content will be available via bandwidth from local stations and would be the key point of profit f the service. [LINK]
Marvel's LUKE CAGE cast:
Mike Colter (The Good Wife) will play Like Cage in both the Netflix series JESSICA JONES and his own series LUKE CAGE. The rollout of the four Marvel series on Netflix begins in 2015.
DEAD spin-off casts lead actress:
Kim Dickens (Gone Girl) has been cast as the female lead of the spin off/companion series to THE WALKING DEAD.
