Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 12/03/14
Part two of the ARROW vs THE FLASH crossover event produced series high, for ARROW, in the A18-49 ratings. The 14. rating is the best from the series and equals the previous night's rating by THE FLASH. The 3.9 million viewers ARROW drew is the second most for the series, with only the series premiere have drawn more people. The episode beat FOX, at 8 p.m. and was just two tenths of a point shy of tying ABC during the hour.
CBS was the top network of the night, thanks to a two hour edition of SURVIVOR. The extra long episode won the 8 p.m. hour and was second, to ABC, during the second hour. viewership was down, slightly, form last week's episode, but maintained 100% of the A18-49 audience.
NBC had the most watched show of the night, as the annual CHRISTMAS AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER special hauled in 9.4 million viewers and a 1.9 demo rating. The solid outing pushed NBC to a tie with CBS in the night A18-49 averages. The CNL Christmas special held onto 100% of the lead in demo audience, but dropped 3.2 million viewers.
The ABC Tuesday line up was back, but down significantly, from their last roginals, two weeks earlier. For the night, ABC lost one million viewers and is down 22% in the demo, from the November 19th airings.
FOX was more of an afterthought on Wednesday. It was last at 8 p.m., and slightly above the CW at 9 p.m. January cant get here quick enough, for FOX.
