Final Broadcast Ratings: November 3, 2014
ABC was the most watched network on Monday night, grabbing 11.4 million viewers. But, the network was 4th place in the A18-49 ratings, with a 1.8 score. DANCING WITH THE STARS was the nights #1 show in viewership, with 13.1 million. That is up 600k in total viewership.
CASTLE was preempted for the CMA Awards Countdown show. It did drop from CASTLE's numbers last week and finished 3rd in the time slot.
NBC was the top dog in the younger demographic ratings, commanding a 3.1 rating. THE VOICE lost viewers, week-to-week, with over a half million viewers and lost 8% in the demo ratings. That lead into THE BLACKLIST, which also lost numbers from the previous week. However, THE BLACK LIST mostly flat in total viewers and adown tenth of a point in the demo.
CBS' comedies continue to look weak. Both sitcoms dropped both viewers and young viewers and were ranked 4th place for the 8 p.m. hour. It is still a tight race with CBS, FOX and ABC, but the EYE Network is on the short end of a small stick.
FOX tied CBS in the demo, but drew nearly 3.5 million viewers less. GOTHAM rose in the ratings, from last week. Two tenths in the demo ratings and 700,000 in total viewers. But that increase did not help SLEEPY HOLLOW, which lost viewers, week-to-week. Hard to believe this is the strongest night for FOX.
The CW hit season lows, but the network was preempted in New York, for the Monday Night Football game, on ESPN.
