Final Broadcast Ratings: November 23, 2014

ABC presented the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS on Sunday night, elevating the network to a solid second place in the A18-49 ratings. The music awards show generated 11.6 million viewers and a 3.8 demo rating. That is down from last year's show by 1.5 million viewers and off by 16% in the A18-49 demographic.

Winning the night was the Cowboys vs Giants game on SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, with 22.4 million viewers and an 8.1 demo rating. it is the 5th most watched game of the season and the most since San Fran took in the Broncos, on Oct. 18th.

CBS did well, thanks to the NFL Overrun game, buy about 45 minutes. There was little halo effect from the late NFL game as the three dramas did no better than last week, without an NFL lead in game.

What is it about all the repeat episodes of FAMILY GUY this fall? This is like the third time this season we've seen an encore episode, mixed in with originals from the rest of the line up. Is this just a small glimpse of how messed up FOX is being ran now?
