The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #93:
CBS and FOX once again are the top networks of the week, as FOX rides a game seven of the world series to 2nd place wins in viewers, households and the A25-54 ratings, and winning the two younger demographic categories. CBS win in total viewers, households and the A125-54 categories, second in the A18-49 ratings, but just a third place ranking in the A18-34 numbers.
FOX hit it big with a game seven of the world series, as it pulled in over 23.5 million viewers and a 6.6 demo rating. It beat SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL in total viewers, to claim the #2 spot of the week. Game 6 did pretty good, placing 8th on the week, with 13.4 million viewers. But the good news stops there. After baseball, the next highest ranked FOX program was GOTHAM, at #47.
CBS dominated the total viewers chart, with 17 programs in the top 30, including six of the top 8 programs of the week. The Sunday ratings were helped by the one hour overrun of the Denver/New England football game, which commanded 29.1 million viewers and a 9.4 demo rating. Each of the following three Sunday programs were ranked within the top 16 shows.
NBC was again a third place network, for the second straight week. Its top 30 programs were only Football (SNF and FNiA), THE VOICE x2 and THE BLACKLIST. Everything else ranked 35 or lower, with the bulk ranking below the 50th position.
ABC ranked 4th in every category, and it showed. The lone top 10 program was DANCING WITH THE STARS, and only four other programs made it to the top 30. Without any big event programming, ABC will continue to struggle in the weekly ratings.
