Nielsen has come out that it has found a technical error within its ratings reporting. The bug has been in place since early March. The company fix the issue for Thursday's numbers and will begin the process of correcting the fall. [LINK]
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY coming to TV:
Disney, the owner of Marvel Studios, has begun production on an animated series for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, for Disney XD. The series will premiere sometime in 2015.
Another day, another classic series gets rebooted:
As if we didn't already know that Hollywood is devoid of original ideas, another classic TV series is about to get an updated reboot treatment. LOST IN SPACE is being developed by Legendary TV for a new TV series. LOST IN SPACE joins TWIN PEAKS and UNCLE BUCK as this week's classic reboots.
ABC gives the first of full season orders:
ABC is the first network to give full season orders to two of its freshmen series. The comedy BLACK-ISH and the hit crime drama HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER each received their back nine order, for a complete the 22 episode season.
Chance for a CLOUDY TV series:
Sony Pictures Animation is working on a TV adaptation of the hit animated theatrical film CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS. The series would focus on the main character's, Flint, high school years.
CBS Cancels another summer series:
The network has axed the series UNFORGETTABLE, for a second time. The series was original cancelled after the first season but came back for the last two summers.
