Ratings Review: PENN & TELLER - FOOL US (Season One)

For the second summer in a row, the CW found a hit summer series. Unfortunately for the network, PENN & TELL: FOOL US was originally produced for British TV, three years ago, and only the nine episodes were produced.

The series was an immediate hit, by CW standards, and was right there with WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? at the top of the network's ratings. The series helped bring life to what was becoming a disastrous summer for the CW. Comedy & Magic is just what the CW needs more of for each summer.

For the nine episode season, PEEN & TELLER: FOOL US averaged 1.67 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. with the series no longer in production, the CW needs to find a project to bring back the duo for another summer series, in 2015.
