Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 10/28/14
FOX won another night in the A18-49 ratings, with a solid performance by game six of the World Series. The game collected near 12 million viewers and a 3.1 demo rating. The ratings might have been higher had Kansas City not routed the Giants, early, with a seven run 2nd inning. The final game of the series is TONIGHT, so expect the best numbers of the series to be recorded. Could FOX gram 18 million viewers?
CBS was the most watched network, winning each hour of the night. Each of the three crime dramas drew similar numbers, week-to-week, with some small gains by NCIS and PERSON OF INTEREST.
NBC was third on the night as THE VOICE dropped over one million viewers and a half a point in the A18-49 ratings, compared to last week's ratings. This is the lowest rated original episode of the season, for THE VOICE. The lost viewership trickled down to each of the remaining shows of the night, with each posting season lows.
ABC was a distant 4th place, with the CW threatening to over take that spot. The network was fifth in the 8 p, hour, 2nd at 9 p.m., and last at 10 p.m. Not a good night, even with the comedies being preempted by the Halloween special.
THE FLASH did drop another notch in the ratings, as under 3.5 million viewers tuned in for the fourth episode of the series.
