Ratings Review: SWITCHED AT BIRTH (Season Three - Summer)
The veteran ABC family series, SWITCHED AT BIRTH, may be beginning to show its age, as the ratings dropped from the first half of the season. Not a good sign for a series starting to eye a five season run.
Things got off on a bad foot as the summer premiere drew the smallest audience ever, in series history. The rest of the summer, the numbers bounced around from encouraging to not so good. Near the end of the run, SWITCHED A BIRTH produced another series low, getting just 1.06 million viewers for the second to last episode of the summer.
For the summer, SWITCHED AT BIRTH averaged 1.28 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. The series has been renewed for a 4th season and will have a Christmas episode, this December.
